PERKS STATUS SYMBOL

We are excited to announce the addition of Perks Status Symbol to our stallion battery in March, 2008.  He is a son of Leading Sire, Dash For Perks by  Dash For Cash, and out of a  AAA daughter of  MR EYE OPENER SI-106 G1 SW ($202,978.) by Dash For Cash. His dam and 2nd dam are both AAA mares with exceptional speed and performance pedigrees.

This 2004 stallion has been nicely started on barrels and we will continue with his training in '08.  December 2008 update: He is already a money earner in  barrel competition,  trained by Judy Myllymaki, and will continue being shown in 2009.

He is 15-3 with a wonderful temperament, great attitude and should have speed to burn. We think he will be a great outcross on our current broodmare band and daughters of our other stallions.  Highlights of his breeding are offered below. DASH FOR PERKS has sired earners of more than $2.5 million including 1999 Champion Two-Year-Old in Oklahoma DASH DEL REY.

DASH FOR PERKS is the Decade’s #3 Living Sire of Money Earners in Excess of $1,001,404; the Decade’s #2 Sire of $50,000 Earners; and Sire of All Purpose Earnings in Excess of $3 Million. From his first performer to the present, has established himself as a premier speed sire, beginning with HE IS SLIPPIN, who was named Reserved Champion at the $500,000 Old Fort Days Futurity.  2007 started with a bang with Dash For Perks offspring winning the 2007 Speedhorse Barrel Derby.

No horse and rider has ever won the Pro Rodeo 3 consecutives times; multiple Futurity, Derby and Pro Rodeo Champion; CASH ON PERKS ($97,758) 2007 Speedhorse Silver Cup Derby Champion, 2007 IBRA Open 1 D Champion; WINNING PERKS ($48,415.) 2007 IRBA Open 1 D Champion; etc.

He Equaled the World Record for 330 yards at 23 months of age. Multiple Champion Sire of Paints, Appaloosas, and Quarter Horses. The only QH ever to sire a Champion Running Quarter Horse, American Paint Champion and Appaloosa Champion in the same year, 2002.

Both Dash For Perks and Mr Eye Opener descend tail-female to Do Good (AQHA Hall of Fame), who also produced  2 Hall of Fame Offspring: Ought To Go (AQHA Racing Hall of Fame) and Chicado V (AQHA Hall of Fame.)

Chicado V is the 4th dam of Dash For Perks,  and the dam of TRIPLE CHICK, WAR CHICK, TABLE TENNIS (3rd dam of Dash For Perks), THREE CHICKS, CHICADO CHICK and THE OLE MAN.
